The Sensor Data Buffer solution turns the iCE40 UltraPlus™ device into a sensor hub. The hub interfaces between the sensors and the processor, always collecting data for time sensitive applications, while allowing the processor to sleep—reducing power consumption in battery powered applications.
The parallel computation capabilities of an FPGA make them the ideal choice for sensor hubs. The iCE40 UltraPlus™ Sensor Data Buffer solution enables continuous capture of data from multiple sensors, simultaneously. Additional resources are available on the device for further processing and correlation between the sensor data.
